29 In reply Jesus said to them: You are mistaken, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God
30 for in the resurrection neither do men marry nor are women given in marriage, but are as angels in heaven (Matthew 22).
Angels in heaven are not divided into nations. Nations started on earth:
1 And during that time Michael will stand up, the great prince who is standing in behalf of the sons of your people. And there will certainly occur a time of distress such as has not been made to occur since there came to be a nation until that time. And during that time your people will escape, every one who is found written down in the book (Daniel 12).
Nations are a feature of the divided house of Satan. When the sons of Israel took the promised land, one nation dispossessed many nations:
23 Jehovah also must drive away all these nations on account of you, and you will certainly dispossess nations greater and more numerous than you are (Deuteronomy 11).
Nations are ended during Armageddon, the greater conquering of the greater promised land:
8 Do rise up, Oh God, do judge the earth; For you yourself should take possession of all the nations (Psalm 82).
Since Satan is not abyssed for at least the first 5 years of the kingdom of God, it follows that the 1,000 years of his binding Revelation 20:2 cannot occur during the remaining 995 years of the kingdom of God. Likewise since there are 144,000 kingdoms but only one nation in the Kingdom of God, he cannot come out at the end of the Kingdom to mislead nations in the plural.
REVELATION CHAPTER 20
1
And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand [new subaccount].

And he seized the dragon [accusative],
who is the serpent, the ancient
[nominatives]
a Devil [slanderer]
and the Satan [the opposer]
[All these designations refer to Satan's entire heavenly organisation, not merely to Satan himself who is the head of the serpent and the head of the dragon], and bound him for 1,000 years [from around 400-460 AD to 1400-1460 AD, starting after the testing of the saints in FDS2 had ended and at the time of fall of Rome, since the trade mark of Satan is large empires. And ending before the start of the Renaissance and before the British empire. Mankind had no heavenly government at all during the 'dark ages'. When Satan is around the angels can do things to protect mankind from the activities of the demons. Satan may have arranged for some things to occur whilst he was dead. But he could not run anything from prison like a criminal boss does today.
The renaissance was not merely due to the release of Satan who transforms himself into an angel of light. It would also have been the result of angelic activity in the protection of mankind from demonic activity. The renaissance was certainly the result of heavenly activity pursuant to the release of Satan. The demons were said to teach mankind some technological things before the flood in the book of Enoch - which is quoted by Jude but not necessarily inspired at all or in its entirety.]

And he hurled him into the abyss and shut [it] and sealed [it] over him, that he might not mislead the nations anymore until the 1,000 years were ended. After these things he must be let loose for a little while

4 And I saw thrones, and there were those who sat down on them, and power of judging was given them [1NC and 2NC kings].
Yes, I saw the souls of those beheaded [not beheaded souls!] due to the witness of/to Jesus and due to the word of God [beheaded by being denied their head which is the LW church appointed over the saints],
and those who had worshiped neither the wild-beast nor its image and who had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand. And they came to life [not necessarily prior to their reign.
This is all of the kings, not all of the saints]
and reigned [as kings, not as Lords]
with the Christ for 1,000 years [reigning as a group from 2008Nisan22 to 3008Nisan14].
5 The rest of the dead [no one in the Kingdom is first dead. There is no adamic death in the Kingdom. But those resurrected from Hades and those resurrected from Gehenna are second dead,
in the sense that they have no angels. All those who survive through the end of this system will have angels either through the 1NC, the 2NC or the 3NC, for the mechanism of escape from the lava flood is angelic]
did not come to life [get born again as both humans and angels] until the 1,000 years [of the Kingdom of God]
were ended. This [the coming to life of the kings of verse 4] [is] the resurrection, the first.
6 Happy and holy is anyone having part in the resurrection, the first, over these the second death has no authority but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will reign with him for the 1,000 years [of the Kingdom from 2008Nisan22 to 3008Nisan14. They are sealed in holy spirit, they cannot ever be put into Gehenna, the second death, a soul-less existence as a spirit - this is the 1NC Kings and the 2NC Kings only.

Now as soon as the 1,000 years [of verse 2]
have been ended Satan will be let loose out of his prison [in around 1400-1460 AD we think],

and he will go out to mislead the nations,
the [ones] in the 4 corners of the earth [see Revelation 7:1], the [antitypical] Gog [he is] and [the antitypical] Magog [is his land/administration] [Gog the chieftain of the land of Magog launched a disastrous attack on Israel and got pestilence, blood, flooding downpour, hailstones, fire and sulphur from Jehovah who sanctified himself at Gog's expense in Ezekiel 38,39 - In the final part of the years you will come to the land - In the final part of the days
it will occur and I shall certainly bring you against my land - the prophets of Israel who were prophesying in those days, years as to bringing you in upon them], to gather them together for the war [there is no war in the post adamic part of the Kingdom of God - they will learn war no more - Isaiah 2:4, Micah 4:3. So this war is Armageddon]. The number of these is as the sand of the sea [the precise number of the seed of Abraham. This is the 50/50 split of mankind into faithful and unfaithful].
8 After many days you will be given attention. In the final part of the years you will come to the land [of people] brought back from the sword, collected together out of many peoples, onto the mountains of Israel, that have proved to be a constantly devastated place; even [a land] that has been brought forth from the peoples, [where] they have dwelt in security, all of them (Ezekiel 38).
16 And you will be bound to come up against my people Israel, like clouds to cover the land. In the final part of the days it will occur, and I shall certainly bring you against my land, for the purpose that the nations may know me when I sanctify myself in you before their eyes, Oh Gog.
17 This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said, 'Are you the same one of whom I spoke in the former days by the hand of my servants the prophets of Israel, who were prophesying in those days -- years -- as to bringing you in upon them?'
(Ezekiel 38).

And they advanced over the breadth of the earth and encircled the camp of the holy ones and the city, the [one]
having been loved [for 2x]. But fire came down out of heaven and devoured them [this being the greater flood of lava, the flood of fire, the greater destruction of Sodom, the end of this world by volcanic eruption, an extinction level event - see U154].

the Devil, the [one] deceiving them
[Satan's heavenly slandering organisation, but not its individual members]
was hurled into the lake of the fire and sulphur
[everlasting destruction], where both the wild-beast
[the UN as an organisation, but not its members] and the false prophet [already were]
[the US/UK world power, but not their citizens]. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever [no more false prophets, wild beasts or heavenly slanderers]
The wild beast and the false prophet are features of this system. Since the Kingdom of God has only one nation in it, Satan is locked up for one thousand years in this system.

Little is known about the life of Heraklius before he became emperor. He was born around AD 575. Heraklius, with the help of an African fleet, ascended the throne by overthrowing the ruthless Emperor Phocas. When Heraklius was crowned emperor on October 5, 610, he found the empire in chaos. The Slavs and Avars were invading the Northern Balkans, the adamant followers of Phocas were enraged and a constant threat, and the Persians, led by General Komentiolios, had revolted against Heraklius. War with the Persians was devastating. Only a year after Heraklius had become emperor the Persians seized Antioch, Damascus in 613, Jerusalem in 614, and finally Egypt from around 619- 629. Many Christians were executed and churches burned.
In 619, Heraklius realized that he would not be able to defeat the Persians on one front while battling with the Avars on the other, so he made a truce with the Avars. This break allowed Heraklius to reorganize his troops and focus on defeating the Persians. His efforts worked, and he was able to regain some of what he had lost to the Persians. Nearly 200,000 men had been killed and a vast amount of wealth had been lost during the war with the Persians. When the fighting had finally come to an end, Heraklius thought that both he and his empire would have a chance to recover and rebuild. Before he was able to do this, the Byzantine Empire was confronted by another threat, Islam.
The war between Persia and the Byzantine Empire had created the perfect opportunity for the Muslims to invade and surprise both of them. Neither the Persian nor the Byzantine Empires had enough strength to repulse the Muslim attacks. It did not take long for the Muslims to conquer the eastern provinces of the Byzantine Empire. Not only was the Empire weakened by the war with Persia, it was also weakened by internal division, due to a desire to maintain orthodox Christianity within the Empire. Many Christians wanted to keep the empire pure and looked upon certain religious sects as heretics. Monophysites, who believed that Christ had a single nature, not two as orthodoxy taught, were especially persecuted. To these people, life under Islam was more appealing than life under Byzantium because Muslims tolerated other religions and those incorporated into the Muslim Empire were free to practice what religion they chose. Many Byzantine dissenters, therefore, welcomed the Muslim conquerors.
Finally, Heraklius became ill and presented no further competition for the Muslims . Heraklius died of dropsy in 641, unable to keep the Muslims from conquering the eastern provinces of the Byzantine Empire. Although Heraklius had not been able to save his entire empire, parts of it were able to survive as a result of his accomplishments. He is remembered as one of the greatest emperors of the Byzantine Empire.
The Prince of Persia and the Prince of Greece in Daniel are demonic princes. Since these were the world powers and since they were not Satan and since Satan is the head one, he must have been abyssed during this time. In fact, from 1 Chronicles 21 where Satan incites David in 1049 BC, to the Gospels where Satan tests Jesus, we see no evidence of the presence of Satan. This must be one of the 1,000 year abyssings of Satan.
14 Nevertheless, death ruled as king from Adam down to Moses, even over those who had not sinned after the likeness of the transgression by Adam, who bears a resemblance to him that was to come (Romans 5).
So Satan was not abyssed until after Moses. He ruled down to Moses but not much further, being abyssed during the reigns of either David or Solomon. After all, as regards the demons, we read:
4 Certainly, if God did not hold back from punishing the angels that sinned, but, by throwing them into Tartarus, delivered them to pits of dense darkness to be reserved from judgement (2Peter 2).
So they were thrown into pits. But heaven is not a physical place. It's not like one pit was in the Alpha quadrant of the Galaxy and the other was in the Delta quadrant! Angels are outside of space. But they are governed by time. So these pits are one after the other. So there were at least two periods of 1,000 years of imprisonment.
