The circumcision of the flesh was from 1918Tishri when Abraham was 99 (Genesis 17). We know this because he was 75 by Hebrew reckoning in1943Nisan, 430 years before the exodus in 1513Nisan. Therefore he was 99 by Hebrew reckoning in 1919Nisan 24 years later. But he would have been 99 for the entire Hebrew year containing 1919Nisan, i.e. from 1920Tishri to 1919Tishri. So all we know is that he got the circumcision covenant sometime during that year. Cornelius was converted and sanctified in 36Tishri, at the end of the LCC covenant extension week of Daniel9 from 29Tishri when Jesus was baptised to die at the half of that week on 33Nisan.
So the length of the LCC was 1954-1955 years. This was a period of circumcision of the flesh giving exclusivity on being God's people to the physical Jews.
If we go forward another 1954 -1955 years we get to 1990Tishri - 1991Tishri.
The circumcision of the heart may have run from 36Tishri to 1990-91Tishri because the circumcision of the mind really began when LW bible research began between 1991Tishri and 1991Shebat. We presently believe that FDS1 and FDS3 had the circumcision of the heart, following Christ due to love and courage, whereas FDS2 and FDS4 had the circumcision of the mind, following Christ due to logically deduced bible interpretations. The 2NC was made between Jacob and Gordon (through a heavenly promise made by Jacob the superior mediator to the 2NC and seen by Gordon after Letter to the Society of 1992Elul11, and before the Genesis booklet of 1992Heshvan16, which mentions the Covenant of Keturah. The Covenant of Keturah is also referred to in the Letter of 1992Chislev1).
The circumcision of the mind began from 1991Tishri onwards, after Letter to the Society was delivered to Brooklyn on 1992Elul11.
The first circumcision gave a cleanliness of the flesh, slightly reducing sexual desire. The second gave a cleanliness of the heart, which stripped off the body of flesh i.e. conquered the fleshly pressure on the heart, with love of God, and with love of the radical new morality of the Christ. The 3rd circumcision strips of the body of flesh from the mind, by the mind conquering the flesh not through massive mental control but through an understanding of the futility of fleshly desires. The circumcision of the mind is the understanding that God's laws on morality are the minimum set of rules which prevent a society of free willed beings from destroying itself. When the mind sees why God has made the laws he has made, then it understands that there is no point in breaking them. That conquers the flesh.
Circumcision of the flesh occurs when you cut off flesh from your
Circumcision of the heart occurs when you cut of fleshly desires from your heart
Circumcision of the mind occurs when you cut off fleshly plans from your mind
Circumcision of the spirit occurs when both the heart and mind are circumcised
Fleshly does not just mean extra martial sexual. It means animalistic as defined by Paul...
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they are fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct,
20 idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects,
21 envies, drunken bouts, revelries, and things like these. As to these things I am forewarning you, the same way as I did forewarn you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God's kingdom (Galatians 5).
Egotism, Greed, Status seeking and loving the glory of men, will not necessarily stop you inheriting the kingdom but these are nonetheless desires of the flesh. Here are some scriptures referring to the various types of circumcision...
24 But let the one bragging about himself brag about himself because of this very thing, the having of insight and the having of knowledge of me, that I am Jehovah, the One exercising loving-kindness, justice and righteousness in the earth; for in these things I do take delight, is the utterance of Jehovah.
25 Look! Days are coming, is the utterance of Jehovah, and I will hold an accounting with everyone circumcised [but still] in uncircumcision,
26 upon Egypt and upon Judah and upon Edom and upon the sons of Ammon and upon Moab and upon all those with hair clipped at the temples who are dwelling in the wilderness; for all the nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in heart (Jeremiah 9).
28 For he is not a Jew who is one on the outside, nor is circumcision that which is on the outside upon the flesh.
29 But he is a Jew who is one on the inside, and [his] circumcision is that of the heart by spirit, and not by a written code [not in those days!] The praise of that one comes, not from men, but from God (Romans 2).
1 What, then, is the superiority of the Jew, or what is the benefit of the circumcision?
2 A great deal in every way. First of all, because they were entrusted with the sacred pronouncements of God [Those circumcised in the flesh had the literal law of Moses and all the scriptures . Those circumcised in the heart had the basic moral understandings of the scriptures. Those circumcised in the spirit have the full morality of God and the full beauty of his salvation plan for man and the history of the heavens and man and a reasonable shot at the future of man - all from the sacred pronouncements in the bible] (Romans 3).
Keturah means difficult questions, challenges to the mind not to the heart. The 2NC is the covenant of Keturah of Genesis 25.
3 For we are those with the real circumcision, who are rendering sacred service
by God's spirit and have our boasting in Christ Jesus and do not have our confidence in the
4 though I, if anyone, do have grounds for confidence also in the flesh. If any other man thinks he has grounds for confidence in the flesh, I the more so:
5 circumcised the 8th day, out of the family stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew [born] from Hebrews; as respects law, a Pharisee;
6 as respects zeal, persecuting the congregation; as respects righteousness that is by means of law, one who proved himself blameless.
7 Yet what things were gains to me, these I have considered loss on account of the Christ (Philippians 3).
11 By relationship with him you were also circumcised with a circumcision performed without hands by the stripping off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision that belongs to the Christ (Colossians 2).
The circumcision of the flesh was a visible, external mark distinguishing the sons of the Circumcision Covenant from those around them. This mark made them set apart for a special purpose. We find prophetic references to a marking, not of the foreskin but of the forehead, in the Old and the New Testament...
3 And as regards the glory of the God of Israel, it was taken up from over the cherubs over which it happened to be to the threshold of the house, and he began calling out to the man that was clothed with the linen, at whose hips there was the secretary's inkhorn.
4 And Jehovah went on to say to him: Pass through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and you must put a mark on the foreheads of the men that are sighing and groaning over all the detestable things that are being done in the midst of it. (Ezekiel 9)
This a heavenly mark given by the angels, a circumcision of the mind of people understanding wickedness and where it ultimately leads to.
John sees further details of the fulfilment which at the time Revelation was written (more than 50 years after Cornelius was circumcised at the heart) was still in the future...
3 saying: Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until after we have marked/ sealed the slaves of our God in their foreheads [the seat of the mind. They have received the mark of the circumcision of the mind on it]. (Revelation 7)
1 And I saw, and, look! the Lamb [Gordon] standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 [2NC Kings] having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads [The circumcision of the 2NC] . (Revelation 14)
And Paul prophesied:
16 'This is the covenant that I shall covenant toward them after those days,' says Jehovah. 'I will put my laws in their hearts, and in their minds I shall write them'. [Their hearts will be circumcised and their minds will be circumcised, being fully able to see and understand the fatal consequences of selfish/fleshly desires put into action. They don't have an veil on their mind, and so can see clearly the necessity of the law of God] (Hebrews 10).
Or in Hebrew: Gibeath-Haaraloth (Joshua 5:3). So the minute the Jews entered into the promised land in 1473Nisan, Joshua circumcised all the children born in the wilderness after the spying revolt. This created a hill of foreskins. This hill was a prophetic hill of foreskins! For when mankind enters into the kingdom of God on earth, said kingdom will be run by foreskins, meaning those who are uncircumcised in the flesh. A hill of foreskins in the promised land, is an administration of foreskinned people in the Kingdom of God. The bible is using the foreskin as a metonym for a gentile. However these people will be circumcised in both heart and spirit.
The Jew was circumcised on the 8th day after he was born. Adam is not fully resurrected until the 8th 1,000 year day when presumably he is fully circumcised. This means that by 4008, the end of the 8th day, all of Adam is circumcised in every respect. In other words we all have everlasting life by 4008.
One can argue that the 8th day of the second presence begins after 2012Ab16, when The LWs, Philadelphia, the 6th church of Revelation 2-3, become Zoar. Except that the 2nd presence ended on 2011Tishri10. So we would expect the great circumcision of the congregation to occur during this 8th day of the 2nd Christian harvest shall we say, rather than the 2nd presence. Is this the 2NC Lord human mediated spirit baptism or is it the sealing of the 1NC and 2NC Kings? More likely it is the sealing into the ARC, CRC, FRC and OMC that occurs during the 3rd presence.
However a circumcision is one time around. So we might expect this great kingdom circumcision to take one year.
1 And it came about that as soon as all the kings of the Amorites, who were on the side of the Jordan to the west, and all the kings of the Canaanites, who were by the sea, heard that Jehovah had dried up the waters of the Jordan from before the sons of Israel until they had passed over, then their hearts began to melt, and there proved to be no spiritedness in them anymore because of the sons of Israel.
2 At that particular time Jehovah said to Joshua: Make for yourself flint knives and circumcise the sons of Israel again, the second time.
3 Accordingly Joshua made flint knives for himself and circumcised the sons of Israel at Gibeath-haaraloth [hill of foreskins].
4 And this was the reason why Joshua did the circumcising: all the people that came out of Egypt, the males, all the men of war, had died in the wilderness on the road when they were coming out of Egypt.
5 For all the people who came out proved to be circumcised, but all the people born in the wilderness on the road when they were coming out of Egypt they had not circumcised.
6 For the sons of Israel had walked 40 years in the wilderness, until all the nation of the men of war who came out of Egypt that did not listen to the voice of Jehovah had come to its finish, to whom Jehovah swore that he would never let them see the land that Jehovah had sworn to their forefathers to give to us, a land flowing with milk and honey.
7 And their sons he raised up instead of them. These Joshua circumcised, because they proved to be uncircumcised, for they had not circumcised them on the road.
8 And it came about that when they had completed circumcising all the nation, they kept sitting in their place in the camp until they revived.
9 Then Jehovah said to Joshua: Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. So the name of that place came to be called Gilgal until this day.
10 And the sons of Israel continued to camp in Gilgal, and they proceeded to carry out the Passover on the 14th day of the month, in the evening, on the desert plains of Jericho.
11 And they began to eat some of the yield of the land the day after the Passover, unfermented cakes and roasted grains, on this same day.
12 Then the manna ceased on the following day when they had eaten some of the yield of the land, and manna did not occur anymore for the sons of Israel, and they began to eat some of the produce of the land of Canaan in that year. (Joshua 5 NWT)
Q: Why were the Jews not circumcised during the 40 year in the wilderness?
A: Because all the registered ones lost their right to enter into the promised land due to their revolt on hearing the report of the spies and so could not be entered into the LCC, the Land and Circumcision covenant, which gave its covenanters rights to the promised land. So those who had lost that right were not clean to circumcise the children born in the wilderness. This did not affect their entry into the Law of Moses at mount Sinai on 1513Sivan7. This means that the registered ones were not God's official people during the 40 years in the wilderness. Although they were under law.
