NUMBERS CHAPTER 13
1 Jehovah now spoke to Moses [WSS.
The wicked and sluggish slave, the administration of Loadicea], saying:
2 Send out for yourself men that they may spy out the land of Canaan [meaning low, depressed, lowly metaphorically] [TCC4 before Zoar] which I am giving to the sons of Israel [sons of the JAC]. You will send out one man for each tribe of his fathers [root meaning of tribe is to stretch out or spread out], each one a chieftain among them.
3 So Moses sent them out from the wilderness of Paran [caves] at the order of Jehovah. All the men were heads of the sons of Israel.
4 And these are their names: To the tribe of Reuben, Shammua the son of Zaccur;
5 to the tribe of Simeon, Shaphat the son of Hori;
6 to the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh;
7 to the tribe of Issachar, Igal the son of Joseph;
8 to the tribe of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Nun [Joshua] ;
9 to the tribe of Benjamin, Palti the son of Raphu;
10 to the tribe of Zebulun, Gaddiel the son of Sodi;
11 to the tribe of Joseph, for the tribe of Manasseh, Gaddi the son of Susi;
12 to the tribe of Dan, Ammiel the son of Gemalli;
13 to the tribe of Asher, Sethur the son of Michael;
14 to the tribe of Naphtali, Nahbi the son of Vophsi;
15 to the tribe of Gad, Geuel the son of Machi [the word tribe counts 14x. The Watchtower only had six 1NC tribes, the other six being filled in the first presence. Laodicea had one 2NC tribe which is now defunct. Russell had no 3EC tribes. So these 12 tribes are zones or Bethels or something? 12 places from which the JWs spread out? Or does AOL have 12 apostles?!? Does he think that Gordon is Elijah whilst he is the mediator of the 2NC? Is this why he stole Gordon's crown? AOL thinks that he is Jesus and the Gordon is John! This would mean that only Watchtower people can be in one of the 12 tribes and be saved]
At the time of the spying (2013) Laodicea must have been a true church or God could not have commanded it to do anything or punished it for failing.
16 These are the names of the men whom Moses
sent to spy out the land. And Moses continued to call Hoshea the son of Nun
Jehoshua [Joshua] [AOL?].
17 When Moses was sending them to spy out the land of Canaan, he proceeded to say to them: Go ye up here into the Negeb [1x. meaning South, the southern church of the LWs], and ye must go up into the mountain [1x. The mountain of Laodicea to spy on FDS4]
18 And ye must see namely the land, what he [is] [1x] and namely the people, the [one] dwelling upon it [1x+1x=2x], whether strong, he weak [1x, one determination. If you determine the one, then you determine the other], [whether] few he many; [1x]
19 and what the land [is] in which he is dwelling [1x, a new action since he only dwells in a part of the land], if/whether good he bad [1x], and what the cities [are] which he dwelling in them [3x], if/whether they camps [if/whether] fortresses [3x Hebrew plural cities];
20 and what the land [is] [1x not a new action, but repeats count it appears], if/whether fat she lean [1x], if/whether there is wood in it or not [1x. Determining one determines the other]. And ye must strengthen yourselves [reflexive] [12x for 12 spies] and take some of the fruitage of the land [1x some LW food].
Moses sends them and says to them go ye - perhaps this means we count the instructions to the group rather than multiplying them by 12 for the number of spies?
1x+1x+1x+2x.(1x+1x)+1x+1x+3x.3x+1x+1x+1x+12x+1x = 34x.
The 3 repetitions of 'What the land is' is code for 'sentence count this'. One counts repetitions. It is just a mechanical count.
So God asked them to spy out the land. But Moses asked them to spy out both the land and its inhabitants. This added to the command of God as men always do. Now in the literal account Moses did not sin, because God offered to strike Israel with pestilence and drive them away and make Moses into a nation greater and mightier than them. So his intentions must have been good, i.e. just to see what strategy would need to be deployed against the Canaanites, rather that seeing if the Canaanites were too strong for Jehovah to deal with! However in the greater meaning the intentions of the greater Moses of the administration of Laodicea, were bad. It was not merely to see how good LW food was, but also to see how difficult in physical terms it was to make the kind of scriptural interpretations that LWs make. That is a lack of faith. It matters not how we make any interpretation. If God wants to give us an interpretation and if our hearts are open, he will give it and we will get it.
So the sins did not start on day one in the literal account. In fact it took them 40 days before they decided to make a report describing the Canaanites as too strong for the Israelites. Going further, God's justice is eye for eye, tooth for tooth, soul for soul, not day for year, which is day for 360 days. So actually the penalty upon the murmurers was death and non entrance into the promised land. But they got a stay of execution on their death penalty for 40 years out of mercy because it took the spies 40 days before they gave up. So each extra day of spying purchased a year of wilderness existence for the people.
Not so in the greater meaning - for such is the ambiguity of the scripture. The Laodicean spies started sinning on day one, when they saw how great LW food was but failed to come and join us. And Moses was to blame in asking them to assess our interpretational capability in addition to the understandings themselves. So they were making an assessment not so much of the wonderful power of LW understandings, but of how hard it might appear to be for a bible researcher to get such understandings.
The whole point of this account is that it is written as though God's justice is arbitrary and is a soul for 360 souls. Everyone who does not care about God makes this assumption (we did for 20 years). If you care about his justice then you think it through to the conclusion that it was mercy that gave them the 40 years in the wilderness not a penalty which was death and exclusion. However in the greater meaning it is a penalty and so begins after the last day of spying.
Now the days were the days
[days plural] of the first ripe fruits of the
grapes [Tammuz/Ab 1511 literally - see
Deuteronomy2:14 and Numbers20:1 and see below] [These
start from 2010Chislev21 - the first fire sign of 1Kings18 which caused them to
start spying at the late first ripe fruits of the
2NC Pentecost which is the 2nd first ripe fruits of the 2NC
Pentecost, hence the plural 'days'. Then we have 34 months of
comparative spying instruction referred to in verses 18-20. Since they are spying out the
land of the 2NC church, one would expect the first ripe fruits of the land they
are considering spying to be the 2NC Pentecost. These 34 months of post fire
sign indecision run from 2010Chislev21 to 2013Tishri21, from the late first
ripe fruits of the grapes]
21 So they went up and spied out the land from the wilderness of Zin [meaning "flat"] to Rehob [meaning "broad place"] to the entering in of Hamath. [meaning "fortress". The Greek name for this was epiphania]
22 When they went up into the Negeb [South, the LWs], they then came to Hebron [meaning "association, joining, conjunction"]. Now Ahiman [meaning "my brother is a gift"], Sheshai [meaning "noble"] and Talmai [meaning "furrowed"], those born of Anak [meaning "neck"], were there. And/Incidentally, Hebron [joining] had been built 7 years [Hebron a city is the administration of Laodicea, which was appointed on 2005Heshvan2, 7 years before the 2012Heshvan2 appointment of Zoar over the Laodicean 2NCs? Rather than months?] before/to faces of Zoan [place of departure] [Zoar] of Egypt [the world] [Zoar is the place of departure from the world].
23 When they came to the torrent valley of Eshcol [cluster], they then proceeded to cut down from there a shoot with one cluster of grapes [the shoot was Roger Knight, the cluster of grapes is Laodicea]. And they went carrying it with a bar on 2 of the men [the 1NC reserve kings and the 2NC saints - the two pillars that Samson removes from the temple. The grapes are not said to be in the midst of the bar. We at one time thought that the bar was the 40 days of spying and the bunch of grapes was in the middle of the bar. Or perhaps the Anak, are Laodicea, the neck of the LW?], and also some of the pomegranates [bearing loads of seed] and some of the figs [bearing loads of seed].
24 They called that place the torrent valley
of Eshcol [water baptism of the cluster of
Laodicea], on account of the cluster that the sons of Israel cut down
25 Finally at the end of 40 days [of actual spying from 2013Tishri21- 2013Heshvan30 inclusively] they turned [back] from travelling/searching the land [The Israelites themselves did not start spying until the 2nd year in the wilderness. but the penalty was backdated]
26 So they walked and came to Moses and Aaron and all the assembly of the sons of Israel in the wilderness of Paran [place of caverns], at Kadesh [meaning holy. Actually this was Kadesh Barnea of Numbers32:8 and of Deuteronomy2:14]. And they came bringing back word to them and all the assembly and showing them the fruitage of the land.
27 And they went on to report to him and say: We entered into the land to which you sent us out, and it is indeed flowing with milk and honey, and this is its fruitage.
28 Nevertheless, the facts are that the people who dwell in the land are strong [interpretationally], and the fortified cities [of Zoar and the ark that they have discovered] are very great; and, too, those born of Anak [meaning: Neck, the head of the wife, the mediator of the 2NC, Gordon. The head of Gordon, the 1NCs, rest on this neck] we saw there.
29 The Amalekites are dwelling in the land of the Negeb, and the Hittites and the Jebusites and the Amorites are dwelling in the mountainous region, and the Canaanites are dwelling by the sea and by the side of the Jordan.
30 Then Caleb tried to still the people toward Moses and went on to say: Let us go up directly, and we are bound to take possession of it, because we can surely prevail over it.
31 But the men who went up with him said: We are not able to go up against the people, because they are stronger than we are.
32 And they kept on bringing forth to the sons of Israel a bad report of the land that they had spied out, saying: The land, which we passed through to spy it out, is a land that eats up its inhabitants; and all the people whom we saw in the midst of it are men of extraordinary size.
33 And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who are from the Nephilim; so that we became in our own eyes like grasshoppers, and the same way we became in their eyes (Numbers 13).
NUMBERS CHAPTER 14
1 Then the whole of/all of/ every part of the assembly [she] was rising up [one singular action], and they gave [forth] their voice and the people [they] wept in that night [Night noun counts 2x in the account, so has a greater meaning. This could be the night of Laodicea after they became a false church - i.e. the wilderness penalty. A year in the literal meaning is a month in the symbolic meaning. So a day for a month you will answer for you errors. We now think that the night of weeping is the literal night of 2013Chislev1].
2 And all the sons of Israel began to murmur against Moses and Aaron, and all the assembly began to say against them: If only we had died in the land of Egypt, or if only we had died in this wilderness!
3 And why is Jehovah bringing us to this land to fall by the sword? Our wives and our little ones will become plunder. Is it not better for us to return to Egypt?
4 They even went to saying to one another: Let us appoint a head, and let us return to Egypt!
5 At this Moses and Aaron fell upon their faces before all the congregation of the assembly of the sons of Israel.
6 And Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were of those who spied out the land, ripped their garments apart,
7 and they proceeded to say this to all the assembly of the sons of Israel: The land that we passed through to spy it out is a very, very good land.
8 If Jehovah has found delight in us, then he will certainly bring us into this land and give it to us, a land that is flowing with milk and honey.
9 Only against Jehovah do not rebel; and you, do not you fear the people of the land, for they are bread to us [metaphorically in the literal meaning but literally in the symbolic meaning! The LWs are the bread of life in the promised land before Zoar]. Their shelter has turned away from over them, and Jehovah is with us. Do not fear them.
10 However, all the assembly talked of pelting them with stones. And Jehovah's glory appeared on the tent of meeting to all the sons of Israel.
11 Finally Jehovah said to Moses: How long will this people treat me without respect, and how long will they [as a group - for some did and some did not] not put faith in me in/for all the signs that I performed in midst of him? [Reader Questions, answered in the account. Counts 10x?]
12 Let me strike them with pestilence and drive them away, and let me make you a nation greater and mightier than they are.
13 But Moses said to Jehovah: Then the Egyptians will be bound to hear that you by your power have led this people up out of their midst.
14 And they will be bound to tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you are Jehovah in among this people, who has appeared face to face. You are Jehovah, and your cloud is standing over them, and you are going before them in the pillar of cloud by day and in the pillar of fire by night.
15 Were you to put this people to death as one man, then the nations who have heard of your fame would certainly say this,
16 'Because of Jehovah's not being able to bring this people into the land about which he swore to them he proceeded to slaughter them in the wilderness.'
17 And now, please, let your power become great, Oh Jehovah, just as you have spoken, saying,
18 'Jehovah, slow to anger and abundant in loving-kindness, pardoning error and transgression, but by no means will he give exemption from punishment, bringing punishment for the error of the fathers upon sons, upon the 3rd generation and upon the 4th generation.'
19 Forgive, please, the error of this people according to the greatness of your loving-kindness, and just as you have pardoned this people from Egypt onward until now.
20 Then Jehovah said: I do forgive according to your word.
21 And, on the other hand, as I live, all the earth will be filled with the glory of Jehovah.
22 But all the men who have been seeing my glory [LW understandings] and my signs that I have performed in Egypt and in the wilderness and yet kept testing me these 10 times [This is 10x of testing of God in the wilderness by Israel running from 2006Tishri11, when we made out 10th prediction for 2006Tishri11-14 (2006October5-10), to 2016Tishri11, when we published our 547th prediction for 2016Heshvan5 essentially which is 2016October10/11. So we predicted 10-10 10x after our 10th prediction for 10-10 - AMAZING. The 547th prediction was the first answer of 1Kings18 from God - since it has the 7 calendar week to divinity understanding and it had the correct date for the end of the world physically, 2018Nisan14] and have not listened to my voice,
24 And you must call upon the name of your
God, and I, for my part, shall call upon the name of Jehovah; and it must occur that the
God that answers by fire is the [true] God. To this all the people answered and said: The thing is good. (1 Kings 18 NWT)
23 will never see the land about which I swore to their fathers, yes, all those treating me without respect will not see it.
24 As for my servant Caleb, because a different spirit has proved to be with him and he kept following wholly after me, I shall certainly bring him into the land where he has gone, and his offspring will take possession of it.
25 While the Amalekites and the Canaanites are dwelling in the low plain, you people make a turn tomorrow and pull away to march to the wilderness by way of the Red Sea.
26 And Jehovah went on to speak to Moses and Aaron, saying:
27 How long will this evil assembly have this murmuring that they are carrying on against me? I have heard the murmurings of the sons of Israel that they are murmuring against me.
28 Say to them, 'As I live, is the utterance of Jehovah, if I shall not do to you just that way as you have spoken in my ears!
29 In this wilderness your carcasses will fall, yes, all your registered/appointed/numbered ones of all your number from son of 20 year upward, you who have murmured against me.
30 As for you, you will not enter into the land in which I lifted up my hand [in oath] to reside with you [5x? in Zoar], except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun.
31 'And your little ones who you said would become plunder, these also I shall certainly bring in, and they will indeed know the land that you have rejected.
32 But the carcasses of you yourselves will fall in this wilderness.
33 And your sons will become shepherds in the wilderness 40 [of] year, and they will have to answer for your acts of fornication [using sexual fidelity to picture theological fidelity], until your carcasses come to their end in the wilderness.
34 By the number of the [Pentecostal] days that you spied out the land, 40 [of] day [40 of day, since day is singular], a day for a year, a day for a year, you will answer for your errors 40 [of] year [40 days of actual spying from 2013Tishri21-2013Heshvan30 after 34 months of post first fire sign spying indecision from 2010Chislev21-2013Tishri21. Then one night of weeping, the night of the day of 2013Chislev1. Then 40 calendar months of spying penalty from 2013Chislev1 to 2016Adar30/VeAdar30 inclusively. The penalty is judicial and will therefore be exact to the day] as you must know what my being estranged means.
The errors began on day one of spying in the greater meaning but not in the literal meaning, for the reasons stated above. Had they spied for 20 days in the literal meaning, then God would have permitted them to live in the wilderness only for 20 years. Those over 20 at the time of the spying would have died within 20 years. God gave them a stay of execution on their death penalty for murmuring, of one year for each day of spying. Since the longer they spied for the longer it was taking them to lose faith in God's delivering capabilities. But in the greater meaning the sin, the error, began on day one when they saw the power of LW understandings but failed to respond to them.
On 2013Chislev1, Laodicea became a false church and was ostracised. But it became a dry desolate waterless place on 2011Tishri10, when they lost their water baptism. The Israelites were in the wilderness for 40 years to the day. So Laodiceans (actually the entire Watchtower) are in the wilderness for 40 months to the day - from 2013Chislev1-2016Adar30/VeAdar30, inclusively.
But then the final prediction made by the president of the Watchtower for the last day of Satan's lease was 1975Elul30. Then they suffer a 40 calendar year wilderness penalty from 1976Tishri1 to 2016Elul30/Shebat30. These appear to be a Watchtower chronological prophecy ban wilderness penalty - wherein those who try to prevent 'date speculators' from doing chronological bible research are the murmurers whom God so detested.
Here are two links to the very speech by Freddie. The 130 second speech gives the date of 1975September5. The 8 minute speech gives that date and gives the history of previous Watchtower attempts to get the date of Armageddon (1914, and 1925) and recounts that Rutherford candidly admitted that he made an 'ass' of himself in 1925.
So presumably the Watchtower set up a committee after the 1975Elul29/30 date failure. This would have had 12 spies who took at look at trying to fix the 1975 chronology. Two of these would have said, we cannot yet see how to fix it but God will give us the answer if we persist. The other 10 said: We want to go home this is too hard for us. Perhaps Joshua and Caleb were Ray Franz and Ed Dunlap? Or was there a Governing Body meeting with 12 present and two voted in favour of bible study (in respect of chronology) Freddie and Ray Franz, and 10 voted against bible study? For Freddie was a proponent of knowing the date of the end. He then went on to become the president of the Watchtower, the leader of God's people, like Joshua. So Ray was Caleb?
Actually the Watchtower does have 12 tribes itself because there are 12,000 1NC saints in each tribe.
A day for a year a day for a year is TWO time substitutions! One is a day for a month for the 40 month penalty upon Laodicea from 2013Chislev1 to 2016Adar30/VeAdar30. The other is a day for a year, for the 40 year penalty upon the Watchtower, from 1976Tishri1 to 2016Elul30/Adar30/VeAdar30 inclusively. The former prevents baptism, the latter prevents chronological prophecy.
14 And the days that we walked from Kadesh-barnea [1511Tammuz/Ab] until we crossed the torrent valley of Zered [exuberant in growth. This was after Aaron died on mount Hor on 1474Ab1 and after they had mourned him for 30 days to 1474Elul1, and before they entered the plains of Moab. So after 1474Tishri1] were 38 years [38 secular year starts from 1511Tishri1 to 1474Tishri1 inclusively], until all the generation of the men of war [angelic beings] had come to their end from the midst of the camp [by leaving Laodicea and going back to the Watchtower], just as Jehovah had sworn to them [saying they shall not enter into my rest] (Deuteronomy 2).
[Actually no JW was/will be baptised into the LWs during this wilderness penalty. All the murmuring men of war, the rotten saints in the Watchtower, die as regards their angelic souls. Was this whole generation acting as a restraint to the revealing of the man of lawlessness? Since we have a day for a year twice, were there two periods of spying and are there two penalty periods as a result - or does this merely refer to the greater meaning involving a further substitution?]
In the greater meaning which Laodiceans have died? Is it everyone in the 10 tribes of reluctant spies? Or did they give up on Laodicea, and thereby come to their end from the midst of the camp and go back to the Watchtower, and lose their angels dying the second death?
Laodicean is anyone who ever had a Laodicean water baptism (because they have
all now lost that baptism.
2013Chislev1 was to Laodicea what 1976Tishri1 was to the Watchtower.
35 'I Jehovah have spoken if this is not what
I shall do to all this evil assembly, those who have gathered together against
me: In this wilderness they will come to their end, and there they will die.
36 And the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land and who, when they returned, began making the whole assembly murmur against him, by bringing forth a bad report against the land,
37 yes, the men bringing forth the bad report about the land will die by the scourge/plague before Jehovah [10x?].
38 But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh will certainly live on, of those men who went to spy out the land.'
39 When Moses proceeded to speak these words to all the sons of Israel, then the people began to mourn a great deal.
40 Moreover, they got up early in the morning and tried to go up to the top of the mountain, saying: Here we are, and we have to go up to the place that Jehovah mentioned. For we have sinned.
41 But Moses said: Why is it that you are passing beyond the order of Jehovah? But that will not succeed.
42 Do not go up, because Jehovah is not in your midst, that you may not be defeated before your enemies.
43 For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you; and you are certain to fall by the sword, because, for the reason that you turned back from following Jehovah, Jehovah will not continue with you.
44 However, they presumed to go up to the top of the mountain, but the ark of Jehovah's covenant and Moses did not move away from the midst of the camp.
45 Then the Amalekites and the Canaanites who were dwelling in that mountain came on down and began striking them and went scattering them as far as Hormah (Numbers 14).
Grapes (0), Day (5), Year (3)
40 of year is a construct, year is genitive because it does not carry the number which is plural. Goats 200 (Genesis 32) is not construct, the noun is carrying the number.
22 Because all those men which have seen My glory, and My miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted Me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to My voice; surely they shall not see the land which I swore unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked Me see it (Numbers 14)
In the literal meaning here are the 10x of testing...
1. Exodus 14:11,12. At the Red Sea. They blamed Moses for taking them from Egypt. They said that they would rather serve in Egypt than to die in the wilderness. Unbelief in the promises of
2. Exodus 15:23,24. At Marah. They had been without water 3 days and then found the waters of Marah bitter. They murmured. They had to learn that the bitter came before the sweet, suffering before glory.
3. Exodus 16:2. Wilderness of Sin. They were hungry and remembered all the good things they had to eat in Egypt. They forgot the slavery and work. It was always easy for them to find something to murmur about. In the first 12 verses of this chapter the word murmur occurs 8 times.
4. Exodus 16:20. Manna. Some disobeyed and tried to keep it till the next day. It bred worms and stank. But that which was kept for the Sabbath was good.
5. Exodus 16:27. Manna. Some went out to gather it on the seventh day. There was none. They were disobeying the law of the Sabbath.
6. Exodus 17:1-3. At Rephidim. There was no water. They demanded that Moses give them water and he was afraid that they were about ready to stone him. They tempted the Lord saying, "Is the Lord among us or not?" The rock smitten and water comes forth.
7. Exodus 32. The golden calf at Horeb. They admit that God brought them out of Egypt, but they must have a likeness of God, something they can see and worship. Christendom is just as bad today in that they worship a god of their imagination, not the One of revelation. They make pictures and images of it.
8. Moaning at Taberah when God sent fire to extinguish them (Numbers 11)
9. Selfish craving for meat to eat at Kibroth Hattaavah (Numbers 11).
10. Murmuring about report from spies (Numbers 13)
