So called because a Syrian called Ephraem, wrote over the scriptures with his own material. The trusty Constantin Von Tischendorf then deciphered the original biblical text underneath Ephraem's mundane scribblings in Paris in 1843.
We downloaded the entire Codex from Alan Bunning's Centre for New Testament Restoration - http://greekcntr.org/downloads/index.htm
We deabbreviated it as in the table below and replaced regular sigmas with final sigmas at the end of words. We underlined the additions and underscored the ommisions
