[6]  Who were Adam and Eve?

The writer used to believe that Adam stood for 'all prehistoric men' and Eve stood for 'all prehistoric women' and that these two kind of evolved into modern man but with some help from God. In fact Pope Paul II apparently had a similar belief, the belief that God kind of helped out with evolution. This was because the biblical story of Adam and Eve seems at first sight to be too naive and too simplistic to be literally true. Modern sophisticated man who believes that we arrived here through evolution and who knows that mankind existed before Adam finds the biblical account of our creation to be somewhat lacking in credibility.

But such a view is incorrect for the following two reasons at the least. Firstly God is more intelligent than us, so it is inconceivable that we would know more about our creation than he does, so his book must reflect this knowledge gap. Secondly, God evidently requires us to work for our physical food and likewise he requires us to work for our spiritual food. In other words we need to decode Genesis, we need to unravel it, to fully understand our beginning as a species.

We are now going to take you through 3 realisations.

[A]   Adam and Eve were real people, a man and a woman.

[B]   Adam was created in precisely the same way that Jesus was created.

[C] Eve was created from a fully grown pre-adamic person.

Here is the proof...

[A] Adam and Eve were real people, a man and a woman

Technical point. Joseph was NOT the son of Heli, and the scriptures do not say that he was. The King James and the NWT and every bible translation except the Emphatic Diaglott and the Kingdom Interlinear gets this totally wrong following Tyndale. The Greek actually says...

(Luke 3 WHO)

So the correct translation is...

22 and to descend the spirit the holy in a bodily form, like a dove, upon him, and a voice out of heaven to have come saying Thou art the son of me the beloved in thee I delight.
23 And he was the Jesus about years thirty, beginning, being, as was allowed, a son of Joseph, of the Heli,
24 of the Matthat, of the Levi, of the Melchi, of the Janna, of the Joseph,
25 of the Mattathias, of the Amos, of the Naoum, of the Esli, of the Naggai,
26 of the Maath, of the Mattathias, of the Semei, of the Joseph, of the Juda,
27 of the Joanna, of the Rhesa, of the Zorobabel, of the Salathiel, of the Neri,
28 of the Melchi, of the Addi, of the Cosam, of the Elmodam, of the Er,
29 of the Jose, of the Eliezer, of the Jorem, of the Matthat, of the Levi,
30 of the Simon, of the Juda, of the Joseph, of the Jonan, of the Eliakim,
31 of the Melea, of the Mainan, of the Mattatha, of the Nathan, of the David,
32 of the Jesse, of the Obed, of the Booz, of the Salmon, of the Naasson,
33 of the Aminadab, of the Aram, of the Esrom, of the Phares, of the Juda,
34 of the Jacob, of the Isaac, of the Abraham, of the Thara, of the Nachor,
35 of the Serouch, of the Ragau, of the Phalec, of the Eber, of the Sala,
36 of the Cainan, of the Arphaxad, of the Sem, of the Noah, of the Lamech,
37 of the Mathusala, of the Enoch, of the Jared, of the Malaleel, of the Cainan,
38 of the Enos, of the Seth, of the Adam, of the God. (Luke 3 ED)

So yes, Jesus was a son of Joseph (non adamically) and a son of Heli by being a son of Mary who was a daughter of Heli. And Jesus was a son of Matthat by being a son of a daughter of a daughter of Matthat. But Joseph was not a son of Heli (he was his son in law by virtue of marriage to Mary) and Heli was not a son of Matthat he was married to a daughter of Matthat. So Joseph was a son in law of Heli who was a son in law of Matthat etc. So if we were to translate this passage it would look like this...

23 Furthermore, Jesus himself, when he commenced [his work], was about 30 years old, being the son, as the opinion was, of Joseph, [son-in-law] of Heli, [who was Mary's father]
24
[son-in-law] of Matthat, [Mary's mother's father]

[son-in-law] of Mattathias,
[son-in-law] of Semein,
[son-in-law] of Josech,
[son-in-law] of Joda,

27
[son-in-law] of Joanan,
[son-in-law] of Rhesa,
[son-in-law] of Zerubbabel [maternal and paternal lines cross here],
[son-in-law] of Shealtiel,
[son-in-law] of Neri,

28
[son-in-law] of Melchi,
[son-in-law] of Addi,
[son-in-law] of Cosam,
[son-in-law] of Elmadam,
[son-in-law] of Er,

29
[son-in-law] of Jesus,
[son-in-law] of Eliezer,
[son-in-law] of Jorim,
[son-in-law] of Matthat,
[son-in-law] of Levi,

30
[son-in-law] of Symeon,
[son-in-law] of Judas,
[son-in-law] of Joseph,
[son-in-law] of Jonam,
[son-in-law] of Eliakim,

31
[son-in-law] of Melea,
[son-in-law] of Menna,
[son-in-law] of Mattatha,
[son-in-law] of Nathan,
[son in law] of David [maternal and paternal lines merge],

32
[son] of Jesse,
[son] of Obed,
[son] of Boaz,
[son] of Salmon,
[son] of Nahshon,

33
[son] of Amminadab,
[son] of Arni,
[son] of Hezron,
[son] of Perez,
[son] of Judah,

34
[son] of Jacob,
[son] of Isaac,

[son] of Shelah,

36
[son] of Cainan,
[son] of Arpachshad,
[son] of Shem,
[son] of Noah,
[son] of Lamech,

37
[son] of Methuselah,
[son] of Enoch,
[son] of Jared,
[son] of Mahalaleel,
[son] of Cainan,

38
[son] of Enosh,
[son] of Seth,
[son] of Adam,
[son] of God (Luke 3).

Now David was a real human being. And all of these ancestors were real human beings (except God). So Adam was a real human being. This line has 77 characters in it from Jesus to God inclusive. This is actually the maternal line, with each woman represented by her husband. The maternal line merges with the paternal line at King David.

The Paternal line from Abraham to Jesus is described in Matthew 1...

1 The book of the history of Jesus Christ, son of David, son of Abraham:
2 Abraham became father to Isaac; Isaac became father to Jacob; Jacob became father to Judah and his brothers;
3 Judah became father to Perez and to Zerah by Tamar; Perez became father to Hezron; Hezron became father to Ram;
4 Ram became father to Amminadab; Amminadab became father to Nahshon; Nahshon became father to Salmon;
5 Salmon became father to Boaz by Rahab; Boaz became father to Obed by Ruth; Obed became father to Jesse;
6 Jesse became father to David the king. David became father to Solomon by the wife of Uriah,
7
Solomon became father to Rehoboam; Rehoboam became father to Abijah; Abijah became father to Asa;
8 Asa became father to Jehoshaphat; Jehoshaphat became father to Jehoram; Jehoram became father to Uzziah;
9 Uzziah became father to Jotham; Jotham became father to Ahaz; Ahaz became father to Hezekiah;
10 Hezekiah became father to Manasseh; Manasseh became father to Amon; Amon became father to Josiah;
11 Josiah became father to Jeconiah and to his brothers at the time of the deportation to Babylon.
12 After the deportation to Babylon Jeconiah became father to Shealtiel; Shealtiel became father to Zerubbabel;
13 Zerubbabel became father to Abiud; Abiud became father to Eliakim; Eliakim became father to Azor;
14 Azor became father to Zadok; Zadok became father to Achim; Achim became father to Eliud;
15
Eliud became father to Eleazar. Eleazar became father to Matthan. Matthan became father to Jacob.
16 Jacob became father to Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born, who is called Christ (Matthew 1).

We know that this is the paternal line because everyone is said to be the father of the next person - which is not true of Luke3.

These two lines of ancestral descent prove that Adam was a real human. Here are some other shorter biblical proofs

45 It is even so written: The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit (1 Corinthians 15).

A living soul is a human being. Jesus, the last Adam, was certainly a human being. Therefore the first Adam from whom Jesus descends must also have been a human being.

1 Now Adam had intercourse with Eve his wife. And she became pregnant. And she gave birth to Cain and said: I have produced a man with the aid of Jehovah.
2 And she added [to this] giving birth to his brother Abel. And Abel came to be a herder of sheep, but Cain became a cultivator of the ground (Genesis 4) [In fact Satan was the father of Cain and Adam was the father of Abel]

Since Adam made Eve pregnant and since she gave birth to a son, both of them must have been real humans!

[B]  Adam was created in precisely the same way that Jesus was created

7 And Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of lives [plural], and the man came to be a living soul.
8
Further, Jehovah God planted a garden in Eden, toward the east, and there he put the man whom he had formed (Genesis 2).

So the man was formed before he was put into the garden. Where was he before this? Was he all by himself? Was he nowhere? Well we know from Intro5, that outside the garden were the pre adamic humans. So the formation process for Adam was rather more involved than the brief description above.

14 Nevertheless, death ruled as king from Adam down to Moses, even over those who had not sinned after the likeness of the transgression by Adam, who bears a resemblance to the one about to [come] [Jesus] (Romans 5:14).

A striking resemblance in fact. Notice that St. Paul, the author of most of the epistles, did not say: Who 'bore' a resemblance, he said: Who 'bears', present tense, a resemblance. This means that Adam is living to Paul. For Jesus used this very verbal tense argument to the Sadducees to show them that Abraham was living to God.

31 As regards the resurrection of the dead, did you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying,
32 I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob? He is the God, not of the dead, but of the living (Matthew 22).

Now as we saw above, Paul called Jesus, the last Adam...

45 It is even so written: The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit (1 Corinthians 15).

Now if Jesus was the last Adam, then Adam was the first Jesus. Therefore Adam was born to a surrogate mother and father as was Jesus. Paul says further that Jesus gave himself a corresponding ransom for all...

6 Who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all [this is] what is to be witnessed to at its own particular times (1 Timothy 2:6).

Jesus, as regards his immaculate conception, corresponded to Adam, the one whom he ransomed, thereby releasing all of his children from the one and only death sentence on them. We are all under the death sentence passed and eventually executed upon Adam - see I10. Now if there is a first and a last, then there must be one or more others in between then for otherwise Jesus would have been called the second Adam. In fact there were 14 others in between them see I21

The first Adam was God's son born by immaculate conception to a surrogate mother, and so was Jesus. Adam had a pre-adamic surrogate mother, but truly had God and the Holy Spirit as his parents. Jesus had an adamic surrogate mother and likewise had God and the Holy Spirit as his parents. The first Adam was weaned and brought up until the age of 11 by pre adamic and angelic parents. These guys were not Neanderthals, but modern man. However they had not invented writing or the wheel and had not domesticated the horse and had not achieved very much at that time - see U1. However God took over the schooling of Adam once he was 11 years old, when he left the custody of his pre-adamic parents and entered the Garden of Eden under the custody of God - see U41.

Jesus on the other hand appeared before the Pharisees aged 11 by our reckoning but aged 12 by Hebrew reckoning.

41 Now his parents were accustomed to go from year to year to Jerusalem for the festival of the Passover.
42 And when he became 12 years old, they went up according to the custom of the festival
43 and completed the days. But when they were returning, the boy Jesus remained behind in Jerusalem, and his parents did not notice it.
44 Assuming that he was in the company travelling together, they covered a day's distance and then began to hunt him up among the relatives and acquaintances.
45 But, not finding him, they returned to Jerusalem, making a diligent search for him.
46 Well, after 3 days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers and listening to them and questioning them (Luke 2).

We have discovered from the bible code - see U41, that the correspondence between the Adam and Jesus is not only that they were both born by immaculate conception. Their lives also followed the same timetable. Adam sinned and left the garden and presumably returned to his pre-adamic parents when he was 33½ years old. And Jesus was murdered and paid for Adam's sin and returned to his heavenly parents at precisely the same age 33½ years old. Adam failed a 3½ year test and thereby condemned us when he was 33½ years old. Whereas Jesus passed a 3½ year test and thereby saved us when he was 33½ years old.

[C] Eve was created from a fully grown pre-adamic person

The situation with Eve is slightly more complicated. Keep an eye of the incidences of 'the man' and 'man', and notice that God took only one rib but Eve is said to be bone of Adam's bones (plural)...

21 Hence Jehovah God had a deep sleep fall upon the man and, while he was sleeping, he took one of his ribs and then closed up the flesh over its place.
22 And Jehovah God proceeded to build the rib that he had taken from the man into a woman and to bring her to the man.
23 Then the man said:

This is at last bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh
This one will be called Woman, because from Man this one was taken (Genesis 2:23)

So here we are told that Eve was taken not from 'the man' who is Adam, but from 'man' who is mankind in general. So she started off as a pre-adamic person.

We know too that God took Adam's rib and formed it into Eve. This is a symbolic statement. A rib is a part of the skeletal structure of the human body. So the rib stands for the structure of the human body, which today we know is a genetic structure. So using Adam's rib to recreate Eve is giving Eve the same genetic structure as Adam had. This is giving her a non ageing physical body like Adam originally had before he sinned.

Now we know that Eve appeared before Adam as a fully formed woman. So what must have happened was this: God picked a nice attractive pre-adamic woman for Adam. He then zapped her genes so that she gained an indefinitely living human body of the same genetic type that Adam had (this being the application of Adam's rib to her, so that she became bone of his bones, gene of his genes). It is interesting that she was not said to be bone of his rib, or bone of his bone, but bone of his bones (plural). This tells us that it was not just the rib but rather a feature of the rib, which feature is common to all bones that God used to create Eve. Such a feature was most likely the bone marrow, which is common to all bones and which produces blood cells, which God uses to represent life.

23 Simply be firmly resolved not to eat the blood [do not eat living blood cells, dead blood cells represent nothing], because the blood is the soul and you must not eat the soul with the flesh (Deuteronomy 12).

After all the purpose of blood is to keep cells alive. So upgraded bone means upgraded bone marrow, which means upgraded blood, which means upgraded life, which is indefinite life, which is life in a non ageing body.

God actually gave her the body that she will have in the Kingdom of God. Some body huh? No wonder he fell for her!

So as Paul would say, Just as Eve resulted from the temporary death (the deep sleep) of Adam, so the first century church, the bride of Christ, resulted from the temporary death of Jesus.

Here is a nice table of correspondence between the birth of Eve, Adam's wife and the birth of the New covenant saints, Jesus' wife. This table involves advanced symbolism if you do not understand or accept it at this point then please refer back to it after you have read past section I31:

Adam Jesus
Deep Sleep Death and Resurrection
Rib out Judas, one of the 12 (ribs, pillars), of Jesus' body (the church), leaves the last supper before the New Covenant is made. He is left out. Humans have 12 ribs.
God closes his flesh over its place The Law covenant ends before the rib is replaced by the 12th apostle Matthias (Acts 1)
Eve brought to Adam by God The New Covenant Saints (Jesus' collective bride) are resurrected to Jesus in Heaven.
